Finally Playtested!
Just finished playtesting! We've worked out many kinks in streamlining the game to make it easier to get farther than two hexes in an hour (which is still faster than we played our own game).
It took us about an hour to set up and get comfortable with the original mechanics, and slowly memorized the roll tables out of necessity and ended up in a groove that helped make turns go smoother: We found it helped to roll new creatures (when necessary) while the next person played their turn and while we did slowly memorize the tables we are changing it to one table to simplify and shorten the time it takes to generate new creatures.
Aside from all of this, we had a blast playing and are super excited for the next edition of the game. We've also given ourselves the goal of creating it as a physical board game with character sheets, dice, dry-erase board, art and more narrative to set the lore and setting deeper than before. We will still keep the PDF version on our page, and we hope you continue with us on this journey as we reveal so many more surprises we have planned for this project we've come to love so much in such a short amount of time.
God bless you all and have a wonderful week!
